Role overview
The Dior Ambassador will represent the brand at Boots in Oxford, working 22.5 hours per week. In this client-facing beauty role, you will champion the Dior image, deliver a polished luxury service, and help create memorable experiences that support sales and strengthen client loyalty.
This position sits within the Beauty team and calls for someone who can consistently reflect a Dior attitude while working with colleagues, retailer teams, and freelancers when required.
What the role involves
You will be responsible for active selling in store and, where relevant, remotely, while acting as a personal shopper and guiding clients through the full sales journey. A key part of the job is understanding client needs, recommending suitable products, introducing add-ons and cross-category items, and explaining the brand and product story in an engaging way.
The role also includes building long-term client relationships, welcoming new customers, managing client information in the CRM system, and using Dior tools and content to support traffic and loyalty. On the operational side, you will follow merchandising standards, watch stock levels, report shortages, handle cash and daily revenue close-out where applicable, and complete assigned administrative tasks. You will also be expected to maintain strong working relationships with retail partners and follow attendance, punctuality, and grooming standards.
Dior values and culture
The role is rooted in Dior’s values: creating with passion, crafting with joy, pursuing exceptional luxury, leading with boldness, embracing inclusive teamwork, and helping re-enchant the world. The company places strong importance on diversity, respect, and a welcoming environment where different backgrounds and perspectives are valued.
Candidate profile
The ideal candidate will bring prior experience in retail or customer service, preferably within luxury, and ideally have a record of strong sales performance. You should be comfortable working in a fast-paced retail environment and able to adapt to changing business needs.
Core expectations
- Drive in-store and remote sales while delivering a high-end client experience.
- Identify client needs and tailor product recommendations accordingly.
- Promote Dior products, complementary items, and category-crossing solutions.
- Build lasting client relationships and support CRM/clienteling activities.
- Use brand tools and digital resources to increase traffic and loyalty.
- Follow merchandising standards and keep stock presentation in order.
- Monitor inventory levels and escalate shortages when needed.
- Carry out cash handling and closing tasks where relevant.
- Complete operational and administrative duties assigned by the business.
- Work cooperatively with team members and retailer staff.
Requirements
- Previous experience in retail or the service sector, ideally in luxury, is preferred.
- 1 to 2 years of experience is desirable, subject to local adjustment.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver strong retail results is an advantage.
- Comfort using new technologies and digital tools.
- Strong critical thinking and strategic thinking skills.
- Good teamwork, collaboration, communication, and interpersonal ability.
- High attention to detail and adaptability.
Additional information
Inclusivity is a central part of the brand’s identity. The workplace aims to be respectful, welcoming, and valuing of individual differences. If you need reasonable adjustments during the hiring process, you can mention this in your application.
Recruitment process
Your application will first be reviewed by a recruiter. If your profile matches the hiring team’s needs, you will be invited to an initial HR interview, followed by in-person interviews with the Hiring Manager and Team Leader. The hiring process may be adjusted depending on business requirements.
Internal candidate note
If you are already employed by LVMH, you should apply through the internal job board rather than the external process.
