Role overview

Millennium Hotel and Conference Centre Gloucester London is looking for a Doorman to provide a welcoming first and last impression for guests and clients. The role also involves maintaining the external and front-of-house areas to a high standard and taking responsibility for the safe movement and tracking of guest and client vehicles.

Key responsibilities

• Station yourself outside the hotel entrance and receive arriving and departing guests and clients in a warm, professional way.
• Provide hotel guests and visitors with helpful guidance, directions, and general information when needed.
• Park guest and client vehicles safely and responsibly, with awareness of the need for a clean driving licence, and advise about any likely charges.
• Arrange taxis for guests and clients whenever requested.
• Open vehicle doors for guests and clients as they arrive at the hotel.
• Assist with luggage removal from taxis and similar vehicles in a courteous manner.
• Keep the hotel’s exterior and entrance spaces clean, tidy, and visually presentable at all times.
