Draftsperson

The Opportunity

Revo Fitness is seeking a Draftsperson to join its Design & Development team in South Melbourne, Victoria. In this role, you will help deliver fitness spaces that are accurate, compliant, and aligned with the brand across Australia.

You will report to the Design Manager and contribute to the preparation and upkeep of detailed drawing sets for approvals, tenders, and construction. The position also supports the evolution of design standards and BIM resources, while working alongside Designers, Project Managers, consultants, and contractors to keep delivery consistent across a growing national network.

This role suits someone with strong technical drafting ability, attention to detail, and the confidence to work in a busy environment where quality and consistency matter.

Responsibilities

• Produce and update detailed drawing packs, construction documents, schedules, and other project outputs using Revit and related tools.
• Support concept development through to documentation, ensuring designs remain functional, compliant, and consistent with the brand.
• Assist with permit submissions, RFIs, tender packs, consultant coordination, and documentation required during construction.
• Keep BIM assets, documentation systems, and drafting standards current across multiple projects.
• Look for practical ways to improve club layouts, space planning, material choices, and the overall member experience.
• Collaborate with Project Management, Operations, Fitness & Product teams, consultants, and contractors to preserve design intent through delivery.

Requirements

• Formal tertiary study in Technical Drafting, Architecture, Building Design, or a similar field.
• At least 3 years of experience as a Draftsperson, preferably in commercial, retail, hospitality, or multi-site development settings.
• Strong working knowledge of Revit, Bluebeam, and Adobe Creative Cloud.
• Experience preparing polished construction documentation, tender submissions, schedules, and related project material.
• Solid understanding of NCC/BCA obligations, Australian Standards, and coordination across multiple consultant disciplines.
• Well-developed organisational, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to juggle several projects at once.

Applicants should be qualified draftspersons or related design/technical professionals who have at least 3 years of relevant experience and can work on-site in South Melbourne. Experience in commercial, retail, hospitality, or multi-location projects will be highly relevant.
