About the Company
Dyson is a worldwide technology business known for creating unconventional solutions that genuinely solve real problems. The company is expanding quickly, and its plans for Germany include broader product coverage, additional categories, and team growth.
Role Overview
As the eCommerce Manager for Dyson DACH, you will be accountable for the daily commercial results of the regional web shops. You will act as the key commercial owner of the site, turning strategy into practical trading actions that improve revenue, margin, and customer experience.
The position involves planning, running, and continuously refining trading and sales activity across Dyson DACH in close partnership with DACH stakeholders, the Commercial Team, Digital Analytics, Supply, EMEA, and global teams. This is a hands-on commercial role for someone who performs well in a fast-moving environment, quickly identifies opportunities and risks, and can make confident decisions.
Key Activities
- Set and deliver the DACH trading strategy and calendar in line with regional and company financial goals.
- Take responsibility for day-to-day trading results across Dyson DACH, adjusting in real time to commercial, stock, and market changes.
- Improve revenue and margin through pricing, promotions, and trading tactics, working closely with the Experience and Marketing teams.
- Own sales and demand forecasting in line with growth targets, product priorities, and available supply.
- Coordinate with Supply to make sure inventory supports trading plans, promotions, and peak demand periods.
- Manage risks such as stock-outs, excess stock, and weaker-than-expected performance by taking corrective action and re-planning.
- Turn the trading calendar into a strong customer experience by ensuring smooth execution across teams.
- Be responsible for local Direct Pricing Policy compliance while staying competitive in the market.
- Use sales, customer, and web analytics to uncover opportunities, solve problems, and guide data-driven decisions.
- Identify risks and growth opportunities early, before they affect results.
- Prepare regular performance updates against targets.
- Share clear, practical insights with senior leaders and stakeholders.
- Ensure trading actions follow the agreed approval and governance process while maintaining speed and momentum.
Candidate Profile
You should bring a strong commercial background and a practical approach to execution. The role suits someone who can work independently, collaborate across teams and countries, and stay effective in a changing environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related discipline; a Master’s degree or MBA is an added advantage.
- At least 4 years of experience in sales and/or commercial roles, with direct eCommerce trading exposure.
- Proven experience in sales forecasting, trading calendars, and promotional planning.
- Comfort operating in fast-paced, ambiguous settings where priorities can shift quickly.
- Working knowledge of analytics tools such as Adobe Analytics and Google Analytics.
- Strong understanding of eCommerce trading levers, pricing approaches, and promotional mechanics.
- Hands-on, proactive, and action-focused mindset with a preference for solving issues rather than only highlighting them.
- Effective communicator with the ability to influence across functions and countries.
- Ability to challenge constructively and help drive decisions when views differ.
- Capacity to balance customer experience, commercial goals, and operational constraints.
- Fluency in English is required; German is a strong advantage.
