Role Overview
The eCommerce Coordinator will support the ongoing upkeep and performance improvement of the Shopify storefront. The role is centered on product setup, collection merchandising, reporting, and broader eCommerce operations.
This position is well suited to someone who is organized, detail-focused, eager to develop professionally, and comfortable using data to guide decisions. The role reports to the Senior eCommerce Manager and works closely with that leader on product launches, site merchandising, sales events, collection launches, inventory-related tasks, daily operations, and performance tracking.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain product detail pages in Shopify, including descriptions, product specifics, metafields, imagery, pricing, tags, and collection placement, while coordinating with product development, creative, and copy teams to gather the needed information.
- Carry out content audits, inventory reviews, and site updates across jenny-bird.ca, jenny-bird.com, and the CA/US/international JB app content to keep information accurate and the customer journey smooth.
- Manage daily and weekly merchandising updates on the website and JB app to support better customer experience and stronger conversion performance.
- Help prepare, plan, and launch sales events and promotional campaigns.
- Support new technology initiatives by researching options, testing solutions, building project roadmaps and workback timelines, and assisting with implementation.
- Compile and review daily, weekly, and monthly sales reporting.
- Research SEO best practices and partner with the copy team to ensure recommendations are executed in a brand-consistent way.
- Monitor competitors and market trends to identify opportunities for improving eCommerce strategy.
- Assist with ad hoc requests from retention, marketing, and creative teams, including UGC tagging coverage, Press Page updates, Celeb Page updates, and client care support.
Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, eCommerce, or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of relevant experience.
- Strong working ability with Google Sheets and Excel.
- Exposure to Shopify and Google Analytics 4 through coursework, internships, personal projects, or prior work is considered an advantage.
- Basic understanding of SEO fundamentals.
- Interest in eCommerce merchandising and conversion rate optimization.
- Well-developed analytical skills and comfort working with data.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Capacity to juggle competing priorities in a fast-moving environment.
- High attention to detail and adaptability.
- Ability to troubleshoot issues, contribute as part of a team, and collaborate across departments.

Role Details
- This is an in-office position based at East Room, 507 King East, Toronto, Ontario, with onsite attendance required three days per week.
- The expected base salary for the role is between 55,000 and 60,000 CAD, with the final offer depending on experience, skills, education, budget, and geographic location.
