About the Role
Kreative Events is seeking a capable Executive Assistant to support the Managing Director from the Zirakpur/Chandigarh area. This position calls for someone with 3 to 5 years of experience assisting a senior leader, though the team is also open to a strong office coordinator or administrative professional with steady coordination experience and the ability to be trained further. The ideal candidate should combine professionalism, adaptability, discretion, and a polished executive-support mindset.
Role Overview
The position involves managing calendars, communications, follow-ups, and day-to-day administrative coordination while also helping with business-related and occasional personal support tasks for leadership. The company is looking for someone with a highly proactive approach, excellent follow-through, and strong ownership of responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Organize schedules, appointments, meetings, and incoming/outgoing correspondence for leadership.
- Liaise with internal teams and outside stakeholders to keep work moving smoothly.
- Monitor pending items, ensure follow-ups are completed, and maintain task discipline.
- Draft reports, presentations, and office documents using Microsoft Office tools.
- Assist with administrative and operational coordination as needed.
- Carry out online research and keep important records updated and accessible.
- Support the Managing Director with business coordination and occasional personal assistance tasks.
Candidate Profile
Applicants should have 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in an Executive Assistant, Secretary, Office Coordinator, or similar administrative role. A background from a secretarial college is expected. The role requires strong organizational ability, excellent follow-up habits, a good command of English, and comfort working in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
Additional Requirements
The company considers excellent follow-up skills to be the single most important capability for this role. Candidates must be proficient in MS Excel and MS Word, have working knowledge of MS Office, and be able to multitask while safeguarding confidentiality. A stable employment record and high personal integrity are important. The candidate should also be willing to handle personal tasks for the boss when required. Shorthand knowledge is also needed. Preference will be given to local candidates from Zirakpur, Chandigarh, Panchkula, Mohali, or Derabassi.
Education
Graduation from a secretarial college is required.
