F&B Project Manager

About the Role

Vserv Capital Services is launching a new premium café venture in the Food & Beverages space, beginning in NCR with plans to scale across India. The role is for the first dedicated team member who will work closely with the promoters to shape the project from the ground up. The work will involve preparing the project report, carrying out market research, identifying high-potential locations, and connecting with vendors needed to set up the café.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead food and beverage projects from the early concept stage through execution, keeping delivery on schedule, within budget, and aligned to quality expectations.
• Operate within tight deadlines to help ensure the café is commissioned on time.
• Create project plans, timelines, and budgets in coordination with relevant stakeholders to support smooth implementation.
• Study the market to understand industry trends, opportunities, and possible challenges in the F&B sector.
• Carry out site visits, evaluate locations, and negotiate with brokers and property owners.
• Coordinate with consultants, document their recommendations, and support follow-through on execution.
• Manage project resources such as staffing, equipment rentals, and inventory during the full project cycle.
• Maintain compliance with safety requirements and support strong customer satisfaction through clear communication.
• Handle project-specific requirements and ensure all critical setup needs are addressed for successful delivery.

Candidate Profile

• Should have 4 to 9 years of experience in food and beverage services or a related environment such as hotels or restaurants.
• A Diploma, BHM, or BHMCT in Food Technology or a relevant field is preferred; an MBA/PGDM is an added advantage.
• Strong presentation ability is important for interacting with clients and stakeholders, along with good interpersonal skills for teamwork and leadership.
• A genuine interest in food and beverages, especially in a distinctive startup concept, is desirable.

Eligibility

Applicants with a BHM/BHMCT in Food and Beverage Service, a Diploma in Food Technology, or any graduate background are eligible to apply.

Additional Information

This is a full-time opportunity based in Gurugram, India. The compensation mentioned is INR 5,00,000 to INR 15,00,000 per year.
