Role overview

We’re looking for a freelance video editor to join a fast-moving creative team producing short-form documentary content for premium wine and spirits brands. The work involves turning supplied footage and still images into refined, cinematic edits that stay under two minutes, while closely following the brief and creative direction.

This role calls for strong editorial instincts, a polished sense of pacing and rhythm, and the ability to tell a clear visual story across both vertical and horizontal deliverables. Typical projects may include see-say videos with branding, voiceover and motion elements, cinematic tabletop edits, and multi-scene montages using subtle parallax and motion techniques.

Immediate availability is preferred, and the working arrangement can be adapted depending on project needs.

Deliverables

Edit short documentary-style films using supplied footage and still assets, keeping each cut under two minutes.
Build see-say videos that incorporate branding, voiceover, and motion-led cues.
Create cinematic tabletop pieces and layered multi-scene montage edits.
Add restrained parallax and motion work to enhance the visual presentation.
Provide exports in both vertical and horizontal formats when required.
Work in sync with producers and creative directors so the final edit matches the intended concept.
Turn around work quickly, manage tight deadlines, and respond smoothly to revision notes.

Requirements

Hands-on experience editing documentary, lifestyle, hospitality, or luxury-focused content.
A strong portfolio that shows cinematic storytelling ability and sound editorial judgment.
Working knowledge of Premiere Pro, with Final Cut or DaVinci Resolve also acceptable.
Comfort working independently in a remote freelance setup with clear, efficient communication.
A sharp eye for detail, quick turnaround capability, and responsiveness to creative feedback.
Experience creating branded video content for multiple formats and aspect ratios.
Exposure to motion graphics or subtle animation is an added advantage.
Availability to start immediately for project-based or hourly assignments.
