Role Overview
Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) is hiring a Housekeeper for a long-term care facility in Sissonville, West Virginia. In this role, you will help keep the environment clean, sanitary, and safe for residents, staff, and visitors while supporting a team committed to service and quality care.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete everyday housekeeping duties across resident rooms, bathrooms, shared spaces, and office areas.
- Clean and sanitize all assigned areas in line with set procedures and safety expectations.
- Track cleaning activity and escalate maintenance or safety concerns to the supervisor.
- Apply infection-control practices and universal precautions to maintain a healthy environment.
- Provide courteous, professional interaction with residents, team members, and guests.
- Handle additional tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
- A high school diploma or an equivalent credential is required.
- Prior housekeeping experience is an advantage, though it is not mandatory.
- You should communicate well with occupants, management, and HCSG leadership while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination requirements is necessary.
- The role requires the ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and push or pull up to 50 pounds.
- You must be able to stand, sit, bend, and walk for extended periods.
- Comfort with repetitive work and routine tasks is essential.
- You must be able to work around cleaning chemicals and supplies.
- Ability to follow both spoken and written instructions is required.
- Residency within the service area is required.
