About the role
We are looking for a meticulous and well-organized Human Resources Assistant to support a steadily expanding organization that values professionalism, inclusion, and a people-first culture. In this position, you will help keep the HR function running efficiently by assisting with recruitment, onboarding, employee support, records management, compliance-related tasks, and internal communication.

Key responsibilities
- Support hiring activities by publishing vacancies, reviewing applications, and helping arrange interviews.
- Communicate with candidates and manage interview scheduling during the recruitment cycle.
- Draft offer letters, employment agreements, and onboarding paperwork.
- Keep recruitment files and applicant tracking records up to date.
- Assist with orientation and onboarding for new employees.
- Prepare personnel files and ensure all required documents are completed and stored properly.
- Respond to employee HR questions and routine requests.
- Maintain reliable employee databases, records, and filing systems.
- Help ensure HR records remain accurate, current, and aligned with company rules and legal obligations.
- Support the monitoring of HR processes and compliance requirements.
- Assist in preparing HR documentation, reports, and metrics.
- Help administer workplace policies, handbooks, and procedures.
- Contribute to employee engagement activities, learning programs, and company events.
- Support performance review processes and employee development initiatives.
- Coordinate HR-related announcements and internal communications.
- Build and maintain positive working relationships across teams.
- Manage HR emails, calendars, and meeting arrangements.
- Prepare presentations, reports, and other HR documents.
- Organize confidential personnel records with care and discretion.
- Provide administrative assistance to the HR Manager and leadership team when needed.
Qualifications and requirements
- High school diploma, Associate’s degree, or Bachelor’s degree.
- Strong ability to organize work and manage multiple tasks at once.
- Clear verbal and written communication skills.
- Comfort using Microsoft Office tools such as Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to protect sensitive information and handle confidential matters discreetly.
- Sharp attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
