They should bring at least 5 years of progressive HR leadership experience, preferably in a manufacturing or distribution center setting, and have experience supporting HR in a startup or rapidly expanding company.
Strong knowledge of HR best practices, employment law, and compliance requirements is important. Experience using HRIS platforms such as UKG or a comparable system is strongly preferred, along with solid proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Preferred strengths
Successful candidates should have strong business acumen and the ability to influence leaders effectively. They should be motivated to create exceptional employee experiences and a culture aligned with the organization’s vision, mission, and values. Discretion, professionalism, strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills are essential, along with the ability to juggle multiple priorities, work with urgency, and follow through reliably. A collaborative mindset and the ability to work independently are both important.
