Role Overview
This position is for a Junior / Assistant Engineer at Aditya Birla Chemicals in Gujarat, India. The role focuses on keeping plant equipment dependable through hands-on maintenance, fault diagnosis, overhauls, and support during shutdown and commissioning work.
Core Duties
- Handle maintenance, repair work, and troubleshooting for Boiler Feed Pumps (BFP), cooling towers, boiler fans, pumps, and other rotating assets so plant operations remain steady.
- Carry out preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance in line with the maintenance plan and site needs.
- Examine, service, and refurbish valves such as Safety Valves, Gate Valves, Non-Return Valves (NRV/NFV), and Globe Valves.
- Support upkeep of Coal Handling Plant (CHP) machinery, including crushers, screw conveyors, belt conveyors, bag filters, and related systems.
- Take part in shutdowns, overhauls, and commissioning activities for plant equipment.
