Role overview

The Junior Data Analyst will work with large data warehouses to pull, examine, and connect data sources. The role supports the creation and maintenance of reporting systems and helps produce commercial insights for revenue-related teams.

This position also involves identifying patterns, trends, and anomalies in data, turning findings into practical recommendations, and helping different business teams answer strategic questions through analysis.

What you will do

• Query and interpret data from multiple large-scale warehouses.
• Assist with the setup, upkeep, and integration of data sources.
• Build dashboards and reports that support commercial decision-making across Revenue Management, Marketing, Strategy, and other teams.
• Spot trends, irregularities, and recurring patterns, then convert them into clear action points and process improvements.
• Work closely with stakeholders to understand business priorities and analytical needs.
• Present findings in a clear, structured, and persuasive way to a variety of audiences.
• Create self-service dashboards and tools so teams can access and use data independently, including solutions such as Looker.
• Help standardise and roll out internal reporting across the organisation.
• Support better data quality, consistent definitions, and stronger governance within the Revenue Analytics area.

What you need

• Comfort using SQL and experience with Looker or another BI platform such as Tableau or Power BI.
• Strong working knowledge of Google Sheets or Microsoft Excel.
• A bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant discipline such as Data Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or Business Administration with a strong analytical focus.
• Genuine interest in data analysis, visualisation, statistics, and data storytelling.
• An AI-first mindset and curiosity about new AI tools and use cases.
• Good problem-solving ability, a practical approach, and the capacity to work independently in iterative environments.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
