Role Overview

Slug & Lettuce in Bristol City Centre is hiring a Kitchen Porter to support the kitchen team. Previous experience is not required because full training will be provided.

What the Role Involves

• Carrying out day-to-day cleaning of kitchen floors and work surfaces.
• Keeping cleaning checklists current and ensuring each task is completed and signed off.
• Making sure food storage spaces remain clean and well maintained.
• Washing dishes, cutlery and kitchen tools.
• Clearing waste from kitchen bins and disposing of it correctly.
• Cleaning and looking after cooking equipment, including cookers and grills.
• Helping chefs with basic preparation tasks, such as peeling and chopping fruit and vegetables.
