Job Overview

The Laundry Attendant is responsible for supporting the hotel’s laundry and dry-cleaning functions in line with established standards. The role includes processing linens and uniforms, using chemicals and machinery safely, maintaining hygiene in the work area, tracking equipment condition, and keeping accurate operational records.

Key Duties

• Oversee daily laundry processing for hotel linens and uniforms, following approved cleaning cycles and textile-care methods.
• Use laundry chemicals and equipment with care, while complying with health, safety, and machinery maintenance procedures.
• Keep the laundry area orderly and sanitary, complete routine daily checklists, and escalate equipment issues or damaged linen to the appropriate supervisor.
• Manage lost-and-found items responsibly and support monthly stock counts and inventory checks.
• Work according to agreed schedules and deadlines, and maintain accurate logbooks and operational reports.

Qualifications

Candidates should hold a diploma or degree in vocational hospitality and bring around 1 to 3 years of experience in a 4-star or 5-star hotel setting. A basic command of English is preferred. The role also requires active participation in laundry and dry-cleaning operations in accordance with hotel standards and procedures.

Work Environment

This is a full-time, on-site position based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
