About the Role
Freedom Leisure is a charitable leisure trust focused on helping communities live healthier and happier lives through welcoming, inclusive and accessible leisure and cultural facilities. The organisation operates gyms, swimming pools and other centres across England and Wales, with a strong emphasis on friendly customer service and creating spaces where people feel supported and at ease.
For this full-time Lifeguard position at Kettering Swimming Pool, the main focus is to help provide a safe, clean and welcoming environment for customers. Training and support will be provided, so previous specialist experience is not essential. The organisation values people from different backgrounds, including those starting their first job, and is keen to support team members as they build confidence and develop in the role.
The working pattern is 37 hours per week on a rota covering Monday to Sunday. This is an on-site role in Northamptonshire, England, United Kingdom.

What You Need
- An NPLQ qualification.
- Confidence in dealing with customers of all ages and abilities, as well as staff at different levels.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- A cooperative, team-first attitude with willingness to support colleagues across functions.
- Flexibility and the ability to understand and act on instructions from management.
- Enthusiasm, energy and genuine interest in the leisure sector.
- Adaptability in a busy, customer-facing environment.
- Willingness to complete an enhanced DBS check.
