Logistics Coordinator, Road Operations

Role overview

This role supports drivers and helpers in their day-to-day work, with a focus on coordinating transport activity, planning asset movement, and keeping operations running smoothly and in line with procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Handle daily transport operations by organizing schedules, routes, and driver activities in a way that uses available resources efficiently.
• Plan the routing and scheduling of assets accurately and on time so that customer and internal service-level commitments are fulfilled.
• Prepare KPI tracking and operational reports within the required timelines.
• Follow all operational policies, procedures, and standards to maintain compliance.
• Alert the supervisor immediately in case of emergencies, serious incidents, or unusual events that could affect transport operations.
• Look for possible issues in advance and suggest improvements where needed.
• Contribute to a constructive team environment and support shared goals and values.
• Build and maintain professional working relationships with teams across the wider operation.
• Carry out other related tasks or projects assigned by the direct supervisor as business needs require.

Qualifications and experience

A bachelor’s degree or diploma is required. Candidates should have around 2 years of experience in logistics and transportation.
