Role Overview

This full-time, on-site position in Thamaga is responsible for leading logistics and warehouse activities on a day-to-day basis. The Logistics Manager will coordinate receiving, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch operations, while also organizing transport schedules, managing carrier partnerships, and ensuring deliveries arrive on time and within cost targets.

Key Duties

The role includes monitoring stock levels, identifying and correcting inventory mismatches, and introducing better controls to reduce shortages and excess inventory. The Logistics Manager will work closely with procurement, sales, and customer service teams to make sure logistics execution matches business priorities and customer expectations. The position also involves supervising and developing logistics staff, maintaining safety and compliance requirements, and using operational data to measure performance, produce reports, and support ongoing process improvement.

Qualifications

• Ability to manage logistics and supply chain activities across the full distribution cycle.
• Hands-on knowledge of inventory control, including reorder planning, stock accuracy, and loss prevention.
• Background in procurement support, supplier coordination, and replenishment planning.
• Customer service orientation for handling delivery-related concerns and stakeholder communication.
• Previous leadership experience in logistics, warehousing, or distribution, ideally in a demanding environment.
• Comfort with operational reporting, ERP/WMS tools, and data-led process improvement.
• Strong planning, troubleshooting, prioritization, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Clear communication and team leadership ability, including coaching and motivating staff.
• Diploma or degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Management, or a related area, or equivalent practical experience.
• Exposure to safety, compliance, and quality practices in warehouse and transport operations is beneficial.
