Role Overview
TOYO Solar Texas LLC is hiring a Logistics Specialist to support its Humble, Texas operations. This is a full-time, on-site role within the logistics function, offering a salary range of $55,000 to $75,000 per year.
The company is expanding its US presence with a new 2.5 GW solar module manufacturing facility in Humble. The position plays a key part in keeping materials, inventory, shipments, and distribution activities running smoothly across the supply chain.

What You Will Do
- Coordinate incoming and outgoing logistics for raw materials such as solar cells, glass, frames, encapsulants, and back sheets, as well as completed solar modules.
- Work with suppliers, vendors, and transport partners to keep deliveries on schedule.
- Review routes and distribution methods to lower transportation costs and improve efficiency.
- Monitor stock levels for raw materials and finished goods to avoid shortages or excess inventory.
- Use warehouse management systems to track, store, and manage materials effectively.
- Ensure materials are handled and stored properly to reduce damage and preserve quality.
- Organize domestic and international shipments for solar modules.
- Handle export and import compliance, including customs paperwork and trade-related requirements.
- Partner with freight carriers and third-party logistics providers to maintain timely and economical delivery.
- Examine logistics workflows and identify opportunities to improve performance.
- Negotiate freight arrangements and reduce transportation spend where possible.
- Apply lean logistics methods to strengthen supply chain efficiency.
- Make sure logistics activities meet safety, environmental, and industry standards.
- Keep accurate documentation for audits and regulatory submissions.
- Maintain quality control practices so products remain protected during transit.
- Use ERP and logistics systems to track shipments and inventory in real time.
- Prepare reports on KPIs such as delivery speed, cost performance, and inventory turnover.
- Support digital improvements that increase supply chain visibility.
- Collaborate with procurement, production, and sales teams to align logistics with business needs.
- Help manufacturing operations by ensuring materials are available according to production plans.
- Communicate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve logistics issues.
- Take on additional duties as needed.
What We’re Looking For
- A bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, business, or a closely related area is preferred.
- At least 3 years of logistics experience, ideally in manufacturing or solar energy.
- Practical knowledge of freight coordination, warehouse operations, and supply chain best practices.
- Experience working with ERP and logistics platforms such as SAP, Oracle, or similar tools.
- Strong organizational ability and a solid approach to problem-solving.
- Comfort handling multiple shipments and deadlines in a fast-moving environment.
- Background in solar module manufacturing or renewable energy is an advantage.
- Understanding of international trade rules and Incoterms is preferred.
- Logistics or supply chain certification is a plus.
- Good command of Microsoft Excel, data analysis, and process improvement tools.
