Manager - Execution - Site (Mechanical)

Role overview

The Manager - Execution - Site (Mechanical) will oversee mechanical execution activities at the project site. The position covers piping, equipment erection, HVAC, fire-fighting, and utility systems, with responsibility for meeting timelines, maintaining quality, and working safely while coordinating with internal teams and contractors.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out site-based mechanical execution work, including installation of equipment, piping networks, ducting, fire-fighting systems, and related services.
• Guide subcontractors and site teams so that progress remains aligned with the project schedule and required standards.
• Review and understand mechanical drawings, isometrics, P&IDs, and layout drawings for proper execution at site.
• Perform stage-wise checks, testing support, and installation validation in line with QA/QC requirements.
• Ensure the availability of materials, tools, manpower, and equipment needed to keep work moving without disruption.
• Maintain project records such as daily progress updates, inspection reports, and material movement or tracking logs.
• Work with procurement teams to secure timely material supply and coordinate with design teams for technical clarifications.
• Track contractor performance and escalate any deviations, defects, or non-conformities.
• Follow safety rules, support safety audits, and take part in toolbox talks and site safety practices.
• Assist commissioning activities and help close punch-list items during handover.
