Role Overview
CacheFly is hiring an experienced Marketing Manager to support and improve the company’s marketing engine as part of a two-person marketing team. This is a part-time position for about 20 hours each week, with flexible scheduling and an expectation of roughly four hours of overlap with Eastern Time working hours. The role reports to the Head of Marketing, but it covers a wide range of responsibilities across campaigns, paid media, social, website optimization, content, and future podcast-related work.
The position is best suited to someone who works independently, identifies priorities without needing close supervision, and follows through on execution. CacheFly is especially interested in candidates with experience in CDN and technology-focused environments.
Key Ownership Areas
- Plan, write, and run integrated marketing campaigns from concept through execution.
- Build, manage, and improve paid advertising efforts across Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads, and retargeting channels, including budget ownership and performance reporting.
- Lead a conversion-focused website refresh and continue managing site updates, including copy, structure, landing pages, and CRO improvements.
- Create and execute a social media approach for a B2B technology audience, selecting the most effective channels and avoiding the ones that do not fit.
- Research relevant conferences and industry events and help the company participate effectively.
- Develop and maintain email nurture flows and sequence-based campaigns independently.
- In the future, help repurpose podcasts, webinars, and other conversations into social posts, emails, and campaign assets.
Requirements
We are looking for a marketing professional with deep B2B tech experience, strong independent ownership, and hands-on execution skills. The person should be comfortable running multiple marketing functions in a lean startup-style environment while managing priorities in a part-time schedule.
Compensation and Benefits
Compensation is set at $60 to $75 per hour. Additional benefits include a remote-first setup, all national holidays off, a $3,000 annual work-from-home stipend, a monthly internet/phone or coworking allowance, a 401(k) with a 4% Safe Harbor match that is fully vested from day one for U.S.-based employees, and full health benefits including medical, dental, vision, LTD/STD, and life coverage, with most costs covered for U.S.-based employees. For team members outside the United States, the equivalent value is included in total compensation along with country-specific benefits where applicable.
Additional Information
This role requires approximately four hours of overlap with Eastern Time business hours. It is a part-time position of around 20 hours per week. The company works with a remote-first culture and expects the person hired to manage work independently.
Preferred Background
Experience in CDN, streaming, or related technology infrastructure is considered a strong advantage.
