Role overview
Abdulaziz International School in Al-Sulaimaniah, Riyadh is hiring a Mathematics Teacher to support student achievement through SABIS® curriculum delivery and teaching practices. The role sits within the Teaching & Academics department and is focused on helping learners reach their potential through structured instruction and the SABIS® educational approach.

Key responsibilities
- Deliver lessons using the lesson plans provided, and where needed create plans from pacing charts so teaching aligns with the SABIS® point system.
- Assess and grade examinations for the assigned subject according to the department’s timetable and materials.
- Raise student discipline or performance concerns with the Academic Quality Controller and Head of Department when required.
- Apply the SABIS® Point System to maintain a classroom environment that supports learning.
- Supervise exams when necessary and help keep the testing environment organized and properly managed.
- Support students who are performing below expectations by guiding and motivating them to improve.
- Help prepare students for external examinations by reviewing past papers and following the structured revision plan, where applicable.
- Assist with additional school duties such as student testing, covering for absent teachers, organizing lunch and bus lines, traffic control, and other administrative tasks assigned by management.
- Contribute to and take part in student life activities and event plans, including arts, open houses, and physical education, in coordination with the Student Life Coordinator.
- Attend training sessions whenever requested to strengthen understanding of the SABIS® system and improve student outcomes.
- Carry out any other related duties or projects assigned by school management.
Candidate profile
The school is looking for a candidate with a bachelor’s degree in a related subject or an equivalent qualification, strong English proficiency, and at least 1 year of teaching experience.
