Role overview
The Monitor position at the Department of War Education Activity in Fort Liberty, North Carolina supports student supervision and day-to-day safety across school settings. The role focuses on keeping students orderly during transitions, meals, recess, and bus movement.
Key duties
- Notice and escalate any known or suspected issues, concerns, or problems to the right staff member or another appropriate authority.
- Gather students and oversee their movement through hallways and the cafeteria during dismissal and other transitions.
- Supervise lunchroom activity to help maintain calm and orderly behavior.
- Watch recess areas closely to support safe behavior and prevent hazardous actions.
- Make sure students board and leave buses safely and are directed to the correct bus for travel home.
Employment conditions

- Pay must be received through direct deposit.

Qualification requirements
