About The Heritage
The Heritage is a refined luxury destination in the scenic countryside of County Laois. The property combines an award-winning European spa with a high-end hotel experience, supported by amenities such as a health club, leisure pool, jacuzzi, sauna, steam rooms, a 5 km walking track, and a cinema.
An opportunity is now open for a Night Team Supervisor to join the team and help support the continued success of the hotel.
Role Overview
This position is responsible for helping to manage hotel operations throughout the night, maintaining guest safety, supporting the front office and grounds, and ensuring smooth handover and readiness for the next day.
Key Duties
- Assist in supervising the hotel’s overall night-time operations.
- Carry out required checklists and make sure function and conference spaces are set up for the next day when needed.
- Support the Night Manager in monitoring front office activity and the hotel grounds.
- Provide security coverage and complete routine patrols of the property and surrounding grounds.
- Check that all exits remain clear, locked, and secure.
- Train and coach both new starters and existing Night Team members.
- Help the Night Manager lead daily team briefings for night staff.
- Escalate any incidents or maintenance concerns without delay.
- Ensure that all residents and non-residents have departed the premises by the required closing times for outlets.
Requirements
- At least 1 to 2 years of supervisory experience in hospitality.
- A strong commitment to delivering excellent guest service in a professional and assured manner.
- Well-developed coaching and leadership abilities.
