Role Overview
FilmNation Entertainment is hiring an entry-level Operations Assistant for a full-time role in its Los Angeles office. This position is suited to someone with 0-2 years of professional or relevant experience who enjoys solving problems, learning how a growing organization runs, and contributing to smooth day-to-day operations across multiple offices. The role reports to the Manager of Operations and offers strong exposure to operations work with room to grow.
What You Will Do
- Support daily operations across IT, HR, facilities, and procurement.
- Act as the main contact for office vendors, building management, and general office needs at the Los Angeles office.
- Welcome and assist visitors arriving at the LA office.
- Help with onboarding for new hires.
- Work with IT to track and coordinate employee support tickets.
- Assist with planning and running retreats, holiday celebrations, and other company events.
- Arrange travel and bookings as required.
- Keep the office organized and stocked by managing supplies, kitchen inventory, and related orders.
- Review, code, and send monthly vendor invoices to Finance.
- Support month-end expense reconciliation work.
- Handle scheduling, calendar coordination, and cross-team communication.
- Enter data and maintain spreadsheets and internal reference materials.
- Support additional projects as needed.
Candidate Profile
- 0-2 years of professional or related experience in a fast-moving environment preferred.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Experience or interest in project management tools such as Airtable is highly valued.
- Excellent attention to detail, analytical thinking, and a focus on results.
- Genuine interest in systems, process improvement, and operational efficiency.
- Self-motivated and comfortable juggling multiple priorities in a busy workplace.
- Open to learning new tools and workflows, with interest in developing a career in operations or production.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
Work Arrangement
This role is based in Hollywood and follows an in-office schedule Monday through Thursday, with Fridays remote unless business needs require otherwise.
Compensation
The annual base salary for this role is $57,425. The amount offered may vary depending on factors such as experience, qualifications, education, certifications, licenses, skills, and the location from which the candidate works. Additional compensation components and benefits may also apply.
