This opportunity is being shared on behalf of a partner organization, which will handle applications and all subsequent hiring steps. The partner is seeking a Paralegal located in the United States.

In this position, you will support corporate legal and governance functions for a rapidly growing healthcare company with a strong mission focus. Your work will involve partnering with legal counsel, compliance professionals, and internal business teams to keep corporate records accurate, ensure filings are submitted on time, and maintain governance processes in good order. The role combines legal research, drafting, and regulatory coordination, and it offers exposure to corporate as well as healthcare-related legal matters. You will assist with entity management, board and committee support, and communication with state and federal regulators. This is a collaborative, high-speed setting where careful work, organization, and legal discipline directly contribute to compliance and growth across several markets.

Key accountabilities

Assist with corporate governance work, including setting up entities, maintaining subsidiaries, and keeping corporate records current and compliant.
Prepare, examine, and update legal materials such as governance documents, regulatory submissions, provider and vendor agreements, and board-related paperwork.
Help file and correspond with public agencies, including Departments of Insurance and Secretaries of State, while ensuring submissions are complete and on schedule.
Carry out legal research and distill statutes, case law, and regulatory guidance into clear summaries that support legal and compliance decisions.
Work alongside legal counsel, compliance teams, and external stakeholders to advance governance, regulatory, and business priorities.
Support regulator-facing work by answering inquiries, collecting supporting materials, and keeping correspondence and filing records well organized.

Requirements

A bachelor’s degree, a paralegal studies degree, or paralegal certification is required.
At least 3 years of experience working as a paralegal in corporate law, compliance, or a law firm setting, preferably with governance or regulatory exposure.
Background in healthcare or insurance is strongly preferred.
Solid understanding of corporate governance procedures, regulatory filings, and entity administration.
Strong legal research, writing, and drafting abilities, with careful attention to detail.
Ability to handle several priorities in a busy environment while staying accurate and meeting strict deadlines.
Good communication and relationship-building skills, with experience working across legal, compliance, and business groups.
Highly organized, proactive, and able to work independently as well as in a team.

Compensation and benefits

The salary range for this role is $58,000 to $97,000, based on experience and qualifications. Additional benefits include health, dental, and vision coverage with low or no employee premium contributions, generous paid time off, parental leave, stock options for all employees, and bonus eligibility depending on the role. A monthly internet or mobile stipend is provided to support remote work, and a 401(k) retirement savings plan is available.
