About the role

This position is focused on making sure customers receive exactly what they need, while supporting several different parts of the store. The work is varied, so no two shifts are likely to be the same. You may be restocking shelves, working on tills, checking stock levels, or picking deliveries. Whatever the task, your contribution will directly support fast, efficient service and a positive customer experience.

The ideal person will bring a strong can-do mindset, enjoy providing excellent service, and be ready to make that extra effort for customers.

Key responsibilities

• Pick and dispatch goods accurately by using a handheld terminal, and inform the manager of any discrepancies.
• Check product quality, remaining shelf life, and whether packaging is secure enough before delivery.
• Process deliveries efficiently and to target while maintaining a consistently high level of customer service.
• Communicate politely with delivery staff and handle questions or complaints appropriately, escalating complex matters to the right person.

What we are looking for

You should be comfortable working to set pick-rate targets and bring a positive, can-do approach to the role. A genuine commitment to customer service is important, as is the willingness to go the extra mile for customers. You will also need to be punctual, presentable, and reliable at all times.
