Picker/Driver

About the role

This permanent position combines van driving with warehouse picking duties as part of the delivery operation. The post includes supporting smooth, customer-focused deliveries and helping the team achieve high service standards. Overtime may also be available.

Key responsibilities

• Pick and prepare stock accurately using a handheld terminal, and report any discrepancies to the manager.
• Check product condition, remaining shelf life, and packaging quality before goods are dispatched.
• Process deliveries efficiently and within target timeframes while maintaining a strong service standard.
• Provide courteous, reliable service when delivering goods to customers.
• Handle delivery staff professionally and escalate detailed questions or complaints to the appropriate person when needed.
• Load the vehicle at the branch and unload goods at the customer’s premises.
• Complete all required paperwork accurately.
