Role Overview

The procurement intern will assist the procurement function with purchase order processing, invoice follow-up, MIS preparation, and basic analysis related to procurement activity.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain purchase orders in the ERP system and monitor their approval progress.
• Support invoice checks, matching activities, and coordination with the finance team.
• Update procurement trackers and MIS documents covering PR/PO movement, invoice progress, and vendor records.
• Help compile basic procurement insights such as spend summaries, vendor comparisons, and category-level reports.
• Liaise with vendors and internal stakeholders to collect documents, follow up on pending items, and close out issues.

Skills and Requirements

Candidates should either be pursuing or have completed an MBA, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related qualification. Strong working knowledge of MS Excel is expected, with preference for functions such as VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables. The role also requires clear communication, consistent follow-up, and a careful eye for detail.

Eligibility

Applicants who are currently studying or have already completed a postgraduate or technical qualification in MBA, Supply Chain, Engineering, or an equivalent stream may apply.
