Project Coordinator

Role overview

J.C. Engineers Pty. Ltd. is looking for a Project Coordinator who can do more than keep paperwork in order. This role suits someone with hands-on construction experience, whether in civil or building work, who can visit a site, understand what is really happening, and make sure the project documentation matches the work on the ground. The team is seeking a practical thinker who is willing to question inconsistencies and help keep delivery on track, within scope, and within budget.

Key duties

• Manage project coordination tasks and ensure records stay accurate and aligned with client requirements, technical specifications, and relevant industry rules.
• Create redline markups and sketches, and carry out or oversee site investigations while reviewing the resulting data.
• Track project progress, prepare status updates, and identify risks, material needs, and cost issues before they escalate.
• Work with clients, suppliers, and other stakeholders, including contributing firmly and constructively when a project needs challenge or clarification.
• Support the team in staying properly resourced, compliant, and focused on delivery.
