Role Overview
A multi-family construction and development organization is looking to hire a Project Manager to support its construction leadership team. The role reports directly to the Vice President of Construction and focuses on coordinating project delivery, supporting client-facing work, and helping keep projects safe, organized, and on schedule.
Key Responsibilities
- Work alongside the Construction Executive in dealing with subcontractors.
- Assist the Construction Executive with preparing client proposals.
- Support contract administration and contract management activities with the Construction Executive.
- Coordinate with preconstruction, estimating, and scheduling teams to develop project estimates and timelines.
- Guide the project team so work is completed safely and within the planned schedule.
- Handle project manager responsibilities on site for smaller-scope assignments.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in a construction-related discipline is preferred.
- Prior experience in multi-family construction is required.
- Experience with podium and wrap construction is preferred.
- Comfortable using Excel and Word at a strong working level.
- Strong ability to prioritize work, stay organized, and maintain attention to detail.
- Clear verbal and written communication skills are essential.
Additional Information
This is a full-time, on-site position based in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. The role is part of a multi-family construction/development group and works closely with the Vice President of Construction.
