Role overview
Enersense Engineering is hiring a Project Planner for a permanent, on-site role in Singapore to support one of its clients. The role is focused on keeping projects on schedule, within scope, and within budget. You will build and maintain detailed plans, work with multiple stakeholders, and provide analysis that helps guide project decisions.
Key responsibilities
- Work with project managers and stakeholders to set the project scope, key milestones, deliverables, and timelines.
- Pinpoint critical path tasks and potential schedule risks so projects stay on track.
- Monitor progress and revise schedules to reflect actual project performance.
- Review project indicators, including earned value, to spot deviations and suggest corrective measures.
- Create regular progress reports and dashboard updates for stakeholders.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other parties to keep schedules aligned and resolve clashes.
- Assess timeline risks and propose mitigation actions.
- Estimate how delays or changes may affect the project schedule and overall budget.
- Make sure planning activities follow contractual obligations and relevant industry standards.
- Keep complete and current records of all scheduling and planning work.
Requirements
- A B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Engineering, BBA, or a similar qualification, along with a strong background in project management, control, and planning.
- Hands-on experience or strong knowledge of scheduling software, especially Primavera P6.
- Solid understanding of project management fundamentals.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Clear communication and interpersonal abilities for working with stakeholders at different levels.
- High attention to detail and good organizational discipline.
- Comfortable working under pressure and meeting demanding deadlines.
- Good English language skills.
