Role overview

Infosys is looking for a skilled Qlik Administrator to oversee the health, stability, and optimization of Qlik Sense and QlikView environments. The role focuses on deployment, configuration, access control, performance improvement, and support so that analytics platforms remain secure, available, and efficient.

Qlik environment administration

• Install, configure, and upgrade Qlik Sense and QlikView platforms.
• Administer servers, nodes, and clusters across the Qlik landscape.
• Handle system setup, patch application, and version upgrades.

User and security management

• Set up user access, permissions, and role-based controls.
• Implement Section Access for data-level security.
• Connect Qlik with authentication mechanisms such as Active Directory, LDAP, and single sign-on.

Application deployment and lifecycle

• Publish and maintain dashboards and applications in Qlik.
• Move applications across Dev, QA, and Prod environments.
• Support application lifecycle tracking and version control.

Performance and capacity management

• Track memory, CPU, and overall platform performance.
• Tune Qlik applications and server settings for better efficiency.
• Support load balancing and scalability planning.

Monitoring and troubleshooting

• Use QMC, logs, and monitoring utilities to supervise services.
• Investigate issues such as slow application response, failed reloads, and access-related errors.

Data connections and integration

• Set up connections to databases such as SQL Server and Oracle.
• Work with data warehouses including Snowflake and Redshift.
• Connect Qlik to APIs and other external data sources.
• Maintain reload schedules and their dependencies.

Backup, recovery, and continuity

• Create and maintain backup and recovery plans for Qlik systems.
• Protect data integrity and platform availability.
• Plan and carry out disaster recovery steps when required.

Automation and scheduling

• Manage reload schedules and task automation in Qlik.
• Use PowerShell or batch scripting to automate administrative work.
• Coordinate with scheduling tools where necessary.
