React Native Engineer

About the Role

We are hiring a driven React Native Engineer who is focused on shipping quality work and building products with speed. The role calls for solid React Native fundamentals, experience delivering scalable mobile apps, and comfort working in a dynamic product setup. You will also have the chance to work closely with the CTO and help shape consumer-facing products from the ground up.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance, and support mobile apps built with React Native.
• Create frontend and mobile components that can be reused and scaled across the product.
• Work in sync with product, design, and backend teams to deliver features effectively.
• Improve app performance and overall user experience.
• Produce clean, well-structured, and efficient code.
• Investigate production issues and help keep the app stable.
• Take part in code reviews and technical problem-solving discussions.

Required Skills

• 1–2 years of practical React Native development experience.
• Strong command of JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Good understanding of mobile app architecture and app lifecycle.
• Hands-on experience connecting REST APIs and integrating third-party libraries.
• Working knowledge of state management approaches such as Redux or Context API.
• Comfortable using Git and other version control tools.
• Strong debugging ability and a structured approach to solving problems.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in hyperlocal delivery, e-commerce, or consumer-tech startups is an advantage.
• Exposure to app release and deployment processes for Android and iOS is helpful.
• Understanding of techniques used to improve app performance is preferred.
• Familiarity with DS/Algo concepts is a plus.

Work Details

This is a full-time, permanent position based in Bangalore, with work from office as the standard setup. The schedule includes flexibility on the 1st and 3rd Saturdays.
