ജോലി വിവരണം
About the company
Bayside Electrical Services is a busy and expanding Tauranga electrical business based in the Bay of Plenty. The team has been operating for nine years and has developed a strong, repeat client base across residential new builds and renovations, commercial fit-outs, service work, custom solar, automation, and industrial and rural maintenance and machine repairs. The crew includes qualified electricians, apprentices at different stages, and administrative support, all working in a straightforward and supportive environment where quality matters.
The company also uses its own internal technology: a phone-based app that gives the team quick access to regulations, procedures, job details, and technical support, helping work move faster on site.
Role overview
This position is for a registered electrician who can take ownership of small to medium jobs, deliver neat and reliable workmanship, and help maintain the strong client relationships the company has built over time. You will collaborate with the wider team and other trades on site, while keeping communication clear and professional with customers.
What the employer is looking for
The company values attitude and pride in workmanship above all. They are open to speaking with electricians who are fully registered, nearly finished their apprenticeship, or have a recently lapsed ticket, as long as they remain keen and capable.
Requirements
- Strong work ethic and genuine pride in the quality of your work.
- Registration status that is current, close to completion, or recently expired.
- A full New Zealand driver licence with no issues.
- Eligibility to work in New Zealand, such as citizenship, residency, or a valid work visa.
- Willingness to undergo police vetting.
- Interest in working across all areas of electrical work, including solar.
What is offered
The role comes with competitive pay, KiwiSaver contributions, and regular pay reviews. The business offers steady work at more than 40 hours per week, plus a work van, iPhone, uniform, and a personal tool account that receives $1 per hour into your tool kitty. You will also receive a paid day off on your birthday, along with opportunities to build skills in solar, automation, EV, and control work. The workplace is described as a close-knit, friendly crew with the benefit of the Tauranga lifestyle.
How to apply
Interested candidates are invited to send their CV by email, or contact the business by phone or text for an informal conversation. The company also directs applicants to its careers page on its own website.
