Role overview
The position of Relationship Manager - Tractor Loan sits within Rural Banking and is focused on delivering lending solutions tailored to tractor loan customers. The role combines customer servicing, acquisition, and relationship management, with close coordination across product and operations teams to improve customer experience and support business growth. The selected professional will also handle dealership business acquisition and nurture relationships for an assigned branch to support wider branch banking goals.
Key responsibilities
- Bring in new tractor loan customers and manage the full cycle of credit assessment and solutioning.
- Maintain regular contact with existing customers through calls and email communication, while sharing updates on rate changes and product options.
- Identify and onboard new dealers, DSAs, and DSTs in the market.
- Develop fresh sales opportunities for dealership business through referrals and local promotional activity.
- Deliver policy-related training to internal team members.
- Address and resolve customer issues in a proactive manner.
- Build practical knowledge of competing products and market best practices.
- Track sourcing quality and portfolio health across channels and team members.
- Review business growth plans using competitor insights and feedback from customers and distribution channels.
- Suggest process improvements that strengthen service speed and quality across the branch network.
- Apply strong sales planning skills and contribute ideas for marketing and promotional initiatives.
Leadership responsibilities
- Help attract and retain capable talent for critical roles in the reporting line.
- Review productivity, hiring quality, and attrition metrics and act on improvement areas.
- Support teams with the guidance and resources needed to achieve growth targets.
Education and experience
A graduate degree is required. Accepted backgrounds include BA, BCom, BBA, BSc, BTech, BE, or any other graduation stream. The role calls for 2 to 5 years of relevant branch banking experience.
