Scaffolding Foreman

Role overview

This position is with a major engineering and construction group serving the energy and infrastructure industries. The business delivers challenging onshore and offshore assignments across the world, with a strong focus on innovation, collaboration, safety, and support for the energy transition. The role is for an offshore scaffolding foreman supporting projects in Qatar, the UAE, and Saudi Arabia.

What you will do

• Lead, coordinate, and monitor the assigned scaffolding crew so daily work is completed as planned.
• Allocate scaffolding equipment and materials so the team can carry out the job efficiently.
• Make sure every team member follows the required safety procedures and site rules at all times.
• Verify that the scaffold-related work meets the project’s quality standards.
• Work with supervisors from other disciplines to understand scaffold requirements and pass clear instructions to the crew.
• Track team progress, oversee execution, and escalate any issues or constraints to the works supervisor.
• Arrange all tools, equipment, and resources needed for the task, confirm they comply with requirements, and support corrective action where issues are found.
• Coordinate with the works supervisor to use scaffolding materials and manpower in the most effective way possible.

Requirements

• Prior hands-on experience as an offshore scaffolding foreman is mandatory.
• Experience supporting offshore hook-up activities will be considered an advantage.
• Applicants must hold valid offshore certificates.
• Candidates should be available to work in the Middle East.
