Role overview
Vestas Wind Technology is a global leader in wind energy solutions and has driven major growth across Australia and New Zealand. This position plays a key part in the service workflow by helping wind farms run efficiently, safely, and with minimal disruption. You will work within the wider Service Scheduling team and also liaise directly with site teams to produce practical, reliable planning outcomes.
The role is based out of either Wambo or Dulacca, depending on the selected candidate’s location. Vestas Wind Service supports maintenance and scheduled service activities for wind turbines on client-owned sites, with performance measured against agreed targets for output, downtime, operating costs, and safety and environmental obligations.
What you will do
- Allocate and rebalance assigned territory work so downtime is reduced and productivity stays high.
- Keep service crew composition current and adapt it as demand changes.
- Plan and track tools, parts, and services in advance of crew mobilisation.
- Manage crew timetables on a daily basis.
- Ensure the service plan matches contractual commitments.
- Maintain timely communication with crews and external partners.
- Keep planning and scheduling KPIs and PPIs within target and under control.
What you need
- A bachelor’s degree in engineering or an equivalent qualification.
- Strong technical understanding and the ability to plan effectively.
- Working knowledge of MS Office, SAP, and Salesforce.
- A process-focused approach to work.
- Flexibility to perform well in a changing environment.
- Good internal and external stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to stay effective under pressure.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Self-management and organisation.
- Awareness of safety requirements and practices.

Eligibility and additional information
You must already have the right to live and work in this location to be considered. To succeed in the role, you should either already live in the wind farm area or be willing to relocate there. The chosen candidate may also need to complete a medical assessment and a police history check.
