- Help improve the geometry cloud compute engine with C# so it can support advanced design workflows.
- Build modelling tools that are intuitive, nondestructive, and suited to working in 3D environments.
- Partner with distributed, cross-functional teams to turn product ideas into reliable software that has been unit tested.
- Review designs and code carefully to maintain strong quality standards, especially for parametric solutions.
Required experience and background
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience developing solid applications with C++ and/or C#.
- Good knowledge of 3D graphics and applied mathematics.
- Experience building client software for Windows or macOS.
- A strong preference for test-driven development and familiarity with Agile ways of working.
Nice to have
- Exposure to JavaScript or TypeScript.
- Practical experience with procedural 3D modelling tools.
- Interest in creative fields such as architecture, interior design, or fabrication.
Work location and schedule
This is an in-office role based in Wellington, New Zealand. The working pattern is a 9-day fortnight.
Why this role stands out
You will contribute to SketchUp features used by millions of creatives worldwide, with a real influence on the move toward nondestructive design workflows. The position offers meaningful technical challenges, the chance to work on products with wide real-world impact, and collaboration with a supportive team that values ownership, initiative, and innovation.
Culture and values
