What the role involves

Day-to-day work is varied and may begin early in the saleyards, continue with on-farm client visits, and finish with discussions around marketing options and buyer relationships. You will work with customers, processors, buyers and other stakeholders while representing a major agribusiness brand with strong local support.

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with both current and prospective livestock clients
• Identify and pursue livestock marketing opportunities throughout the region
• Offer practical and trusted advice to producers
• Work closely with buyers, processors and other industry participants
• Support livestock sales, auctions and on-property transactions
• Take part in local industry and community activities
• Build your own profile, network and standing within the region
