Role Overview

Panda Restaurant Group is hiring experienced leaders to join its store management team in McAllen, TX. This role is responsible for running one location end to end while supporting the company’s focus on associate growth, customer satisfaction, and operational excellence.

What You Will Be Responsible For

As the Store Manager, you will oversee the daily operation of a single store. Your scope includes hiring, guiding, and supervising associates, as well as making sure the location meets financial targets and consistently delivers a strong guest experience.

Training and Development

To help set you up for success, the company provides paid Store Management Leadership Training, along with mentorship and support from its internal community. New store leaders also complete an 8-week-or-longer store leadership training program.

Qualifications and Experience

• A high school diploma is required
• You must be willing to work in a store location within a 50-mile radius
• The schedule must be flexible, including weekends
• ServeSafe certification is required for food safety

Work Environment and Physical Requirements

This role is based in a busy restaurant setting where counter areas may be hot, steam and food vapors are common, and workspace is limited. The job involves standing for long periods, preparing hot and cold food items, using a Chinese cook knife and other kitchen tools, and working quickly without sacrificing accuracy. You must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for up to four hours, and reach across 36-inch countertops to serve guests. Kitchens can be loud, shelves are often high, and storage space is restricted. The role also requires strong verbal communication, adaptability in a changing environment, and the ability to handle conflict and difficult situations.
