Role Summary
The Training Coordinator will own the planning, coordination, and execution of project training activities on site in Ras Laffan, Al Khor and Al Thakhira, Qatar. This position requires close interaction with vendors, subcontractors, company teams, clients, and internal support functions to ensure all training is delivered on schedule, properly documented, and aligned with contractual and project requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Build the execution-level training plan from the overall project training plan and site-specific conditions, then drive its rollout.
- Raise requests for training services from vendors or subcontractors to make sure all training needs are covered.
- Check training documents prepared by vendors and subcontractors, and coordinate further review with the relevant engineering team when necessary.
- Work with the client to set training schedules in line with project milestones and contract obligations.
- Oversee the selection process for trainers and secure the needed approvals.
- Ensure all training venues, software, hardware, coordination documents, and learning materials are ready and fully operational before sessions begin.
- Manage the delivery of training courses by coordinating among vendors, subcontractors, the company, General Services, and Site Supervision.
- Monitor training execution to confirm activities are carried out according to the approved plan.
- Verify that approved training programs are followed throughout each session.
- Keep training records up to date and prepare training reports.
- Track training service costs and ensure spending remains within budget.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience handling training coordination in EPC, oil and gas, energy, or industrial project environments.
- Hands-on experience in creating and putting project training plans into action.
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate training with vendors, subcontractors, and cross-functional teams.
- Working knowledge of reviewing technical training and project-related documentation, as well as maintaining training records and reports.
- Experience organizing training logistics and following up on execution details.
- Strong planning and communication abilities.
- Fluency in English.
Work Location
This is a full-time, onsite role based in Ras Laffan, Al Khor and Al Thakhira, Qatar.
