About the Role
LBC Mortgage is an expanding commercial real estate lending and investment firm that structures and closes large-ticket deals across a range of property types. The organization is seeking a highly analytical professional who can pair underwriting strength with relationship-building and deal-sourcing capability.
This position suits someone who can manage the full commercial real estate finance cycle, including sourcing opportunities, evaluating transactions, structuring terms, and driving deals through closing.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate commercial real estate transactions spanning multifamily, office, retail, industrial, hospitality, and mixed-use assets.
- Review borrower statements, rent rolls, operating performance, tax filings, and market intelligence to assess deal quality.
- Develop and check financial models, cash flow forecasts, and property valuation work.
- Design loan structures and investment scenarios that reflect risk profile and transaction strategy.
- Identify and bring in new lending opportunities through brokers, borrowers, investors, and broader industry contacts.
- Track transactions from the first review stage through final closing.
- Coordinate diligence items, legal papers, title work, third-party reports, and other closing prerequisites.
- Prepare and present lending or investment recommendations to senior leadership.
- Build and sustain strong relationships with lenders, brokers, borrowers, and capital partners.
- Follow market developments and spot strategic financing and investment opportunities.
Required Experience and Qualifications
- At least 4 years of experience in commercial real estate underwriting, investment analysis, mortgage banking, acquisitions, or loan origination.
- Solid knowledge of commercial lending structures and CRE financial analysis.
- Hands-on experience underwriting income-generating properties and assessing investment opportunities.
- Demonstrated success in sourcing, negotiating, or originating commercial deals.
- Exposure to banks, private lenders, debt funds, bridge financing, agency programs, or institutional capital sources.
- Strong Excel proficiency and advanced financial modeling ability.
- Effective communication and negotiation skills.
- Comfort working in a fast-moving, entrepreneurial setting.
