Role Overview

DP World is hiring a Welder in Dubai to carry out repair, fabrication, and modification work across piping, plant, equipment, and marine/yard structures. The role supports safe, high-quality welding work and helps keep operational assets in good condition.

Key Duties

• Carry out welding repairs on piping, plant, equipment, and related assets, including the fabrication of skip buckets.
• Perform SMAW welding for fabrication tasks, pipework, and similar applications.
• Handle welding work for the manufacture and alteration of gangways, cradles, yard equipment, and sheet metal items.
• Support welding modifications on shiplift platform structures, STC platform structures, grating, and rails.
• Use company tools and equipment safely and help control material wastage.
• Build and maintain effective working relationships with workers, foremen, supervisors, and management.
• Take on Foreman duties when assigned for specific projects.
• Check that materials meet required standards before use and report any damage when found.
• Complete assigned work within the planned timeframe to help meet departmental targets.
• Attend training sessions required by the department.
• Keep all work areas clean, orderly, and well maintained.
