Key duties
- Review assembly instructions, blueprints, and parts lists, then collect the required parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials
- Place parts and subassemblies using templates or measurement references
- Join components together, checking that everything fits correctly and fastening pieces securely
- Address assembly issues by adjusting dimensions to meet specifications and informing the supervisor when extra support is needed
- Keep equipment running by carrying out preventive maintenance tasks
- Monitor stock levels, anticipate supply needs, and place or expedite orders when necessary
- Stay in regular contact with the supervisor about possible issues
- Maintain a safe, orderly, and clean work area by following procedures, rules, and regulations
- Follow safety measures to protect people and company property
- Support team goals by delivering accurate work and timely results
- Take on additional tasks assigned by management or the supervisor

Physical requirements
This role is highly active. Regularly required activities include talking and hearing, and the job involves standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing throughout the day. The position may require lifting or moving items weighing over 50 pounds. Required vision abilities include close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth perception, along with the ability to adjust focus.
Working conditions

Schedule and travel
This is a full-time role with an expected schedule of 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday. Weekend and overnight work may also be required. No travel is expected.
Education and experience
- High school diploma or GED is required
- Up to 2 years of experience in a manufacturing setting
- Ability to determine whether a product meets quality and productivity standards
- Hands-on ability with hand tools
- Strong attention to detail to support high-quality production
- Ability to read and follow documented procedures and standards
- Capability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-moving environment while meeting delivery needs
- Willingness to work overtime when needed to achieve targets
- Clear verbal and written communication skills
- Bilingual English/Spanish ability is a plus
