Role Overview
The Back-Office Officer supports core operational workflows linked to client onboarding, account setup, KYC verification, and coordination with the sales and compliance functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Review client KYC documents and confirm they meet regulatory and internal compliance standards.
- Support the new-client onboarding journey and provide timely follow-up throughout the process.
- Set up client accounts in CRM platforms.
- Prepare client files and maintain accurate records after compliance review.
- Run client screening checks for politically exposed persons (PEP) and adverse media hits.
- Work closely with the sales team to keep client information current and accurate.
- Carry out periodic reviews of client files to ensure they remain complete and correct.
- Provide help with administrative duties within the department as needed.
- Assist compliance staff with document collection for transaction monitoring and related requests.
- Stay up to date with compliance obligations and regulatory developments.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a closely related discipline.
- No prior experience is required, though around one year in a similar role is considered an advantage.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Strong written and spoken English communication skills.
- Good stress management and the ability to complete tasks quickly and efficiently.
- Comfort working in a fast-changing, high-paced setting.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts.
