What you will do

• Carry out blast-site tasks while working under the direction of the lead blaster.
• Support blast planning and the layout of drill patterns.
• Help prepare blast reports by entering data accurately.
• Assist with hazard checks to help maintain a safe work area for everyone involved.
• Keep daily-use equipment clean and in proper working condition, including vehicles used to deliver explosive products.
• Move explosives safely and efficiently using delivery trucks.
• Take part in safety training sessions and meetings to strengthen company safety programs.

What the employer is looking for

• A high school diploma or an equivalent qualification is preferred.
• Previous manual labor experience is preferred.
• Strong English reading, writing, speaking, and communication skills.
• Comfort working outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Ability to wear personal protective equipment when required.
• Capacity to lift up to 25 kg.
• A positive attitude, friendly approach, and team-oriented mindset.
• A full and valid driver’s license is required.

Compensation

The pay rate mentioned for this role is 33 dollars.
