Role Objective

The purpose of this position is to keep the control room running efficiently on a day-to-day basis by overseeing surveillance operations, documenting incidents, and meeting the expected service standards while reporting to the Corporate Security Manager.

Responsibilities

• Run CCTV operations and oversee live camera feeds, recording, and video storage.
• Look after control room tools such as monitors, radios, telephones, and computers.
• Carry out continuous monitoring and make sure footage is properly indexed and retrievable.
• Track alarm alerts and make sure they are handled without delay.
• Identify and escalate anything unusual, following the relevant operating procedures.
• Help protect against unauthorized entry or exit by supporting the reliability of security systems.
• Draft daily updates on system condition and incidents for management review.
• Keep accurate incident records and raise concerns quickly when needed.
• Assist the security team during emergencies and active incidents.
• Follow data privacy and confidentiality rules at all times.
• Work with law enforcement agencies when CCTV footage is needed as evidence.
• Take on additional tasks assigned by the Security Supervisor or Security Manager.

Requirements

• Completion of formal education in any field.
• Strong command of English, both written and spoken.
• Working knowledge of surveillance and incident management systems.
