Role overview

As a Customer Engagement Partner, you will be part of the central Customer Service function at the Tomago head office. The role focuses on customer communication, reporting, and coordination that help support important business areas across mining, utilities, and heavy industry.

You’ll join a collaborative and high-performing team where the work is varied and requires strong attention to service quality, clear communication, and the ability to use customer insights and data to influence outcomes.

What you’ll be doing

  • Supporting the centralised customer service team based in head office.
  • Building and maintaining customer service reports.
  • Managing day-to-day communication with customers.
  • Helping resolve customer order-related issues through proactive follow-up.
  • Using data and customer interactions to consult and influence internal and external outcomes.
  • Coordinating multiple tasks while keeping priorities under control.

What we’re looking for

  • A qualification in Business Administration, or an equivalent field.
  • Background in ERP systems and/or order management systems such as Syteline.
  • At least 2 years of experience in sales or customer service.
  • Proven ability to maintain reporting across a business.
  • Experience gained in manufacturing, electrical, technical, or product-focused environments.
  • Strong capability to work through order issues and follow up until the customer is satisfied.
  • Excellent spoken and written communication skills.
  • Intermediate-level skills in Microsoft Office applications.
