Role overview

Amyx is hiring a remote Data Analyst to support its Defense Logistics Agency program in the United States. The role focuses on evaluating data elements, codes, business rules, and data standards, while helping define and improve the way data is structured and used across business processes.

What you will do

Support technical reviews of data elements, codes, and related business rules and standards.
Assess proposed data elements, codes, and their attributes for accuracy and fit.
Make sure data definitions are precise, technically sound, and aligned with business processes.
Gather business and data needs, perform data analysis, and help shape data strategy, policies, and procedures.
Implement capabilities that support business information requirements.
Communicate information clearly and accurately to stakeholders.

Requirements

At least 10 years of relevant experience, including significant work reviewing and coordinating new or revised policies, vocabularies, and data elements used across DoW.
Experience with one or more of these standards or technologies: ASC X12, Business Enterprise Architecture, data dictionaries, data warehousing, enterprise application integration, metadata registry, Master Data Management (MDM), relational databases, semantics, data retention, SQL, Procedural SQL, XML, XML schema definitions (XSD), and transformations.
Strong background representing DoW interests in the ASC X12 data standards management process.
Must hold an IT-II Non-Critical Sensitive security clearance or Tier 3.

Additional information

Compensation for this position is $95,000 to $140,000 per year. Physical demands

This position requires the ability to sit at a workstation for extended periods, use hands to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls, reach with hands and arms, and talk and hear. Work is typically performed on a desktop or laptop for long periods while reading, analyzing information, and preparing recommendations, summaries, or reports in writing. Strong verbal and written communication is essential. In some cases, the role may involve occasionally lifting or moving moderate weight, generally under 20 pounds. Regular and predictable attendance is required.
